Portraiture make the strongest statement about the human and its present, when it goes beyond description, accumulation or illusion; when we make it work (the portrait)
in a meta-place such as the human site for identification. I do believe in this double space (metaphorical and real) that eventually may be reached by portraiture when it
becomes both psychological and realistic, and I identify with the origin of this phenomena that intuits the image before its appearance.
